I had a nice time in the Tunis airport Privilege Lounge and made friends with the barman! The Tunisian wine was excellent and it's just as well I had a few glasses because there was nothing available on the meagre buy on board trolley on the Nouvelair flight to Geneva. Luckily I pre-ordered a meal tray which turned out to be really good and filled my needs for the whole evening. It included a Tunisian hot dish with chicken, a salad, a bread roll with cheese and a nut tart for dessert.
The flight left a bit behind schedule and arrived at Geneva some 29 minutes late. Before landing at Geneva we flew over the Mt Blanc Massif, turning over the Vaudois Alps to head down the length of Lake Geneva to land at Geneva airport. The flight had been quite pleasant because it wasn't completely full and I had the middle seat beside me left empty. In addition, there was no turbulence. At check-in the agent had insisted on moving me into an emergency exit row seat, which gave me a seat with a lot of legroom. I am still not a great fan of Nouvelair, but it did get me to where I needed to go without any major issues.
