I’ll reserve judgement on the soft product for now because I’ve only been here about 8 hours and occupancy is not very high so whether service will normally be like this is difficult to judge.

The room is indeed beautiful, there are a couple of slightly rough bits of finishing (e.g. one of the interior doors is a bit sticky, rushed paintwork, etc) but the materials and design is proper luxury hotel standard, this could be a suite at a Mandarin Oriental or Four Seasons.

A lot of money has been lavished on this place.
