We are 4 adult and a 13 year old, and we would usually do 5 consecutive window seats in a 1-2-1. Any suggestions for least worst seats in CW? I’m already dreading the flight!
I flew back from HND on a 787-9 recently and had a last minute change of flight so ended up in the middle seat of the middle bank. It was one of the most comfortable business class flights I’ve been on for a while, and surprised me. I was reminded how genuinely comfortable the old CW seats are, especially for lounging. The middle seat was an extra wide space, and so I felt I had plenty of room. And I’ve always liked the fact that there’s no foot coffin. Although the space for ‘stuff’ is limited, for example limited space for drinks, if you’re not planning to get up and down excessively it’s fine. The only downside is that you need to step over/be stepped over but if you e the back row the rear facing seats will be free movement. You will be fine. It’s actually a nice way to travel with family. As a 5 I would see if you could get the back row of the front cabin, with a window pair on one side or the other, and have a jolly and social flight!
