I transferred from Chase and while entering my EK account number to link it, I was on a page on EK's site that showed it as 'EK 123 456 789'. Not sure why it didn't occur to me to also enter the 'EK', I only entered the number portion.
Then I noticed in a different section of the site, the account number appears as '00 123 456 789'.
Either way I must have entered the number wrong (I assume I'm missing the leading zeros). I called Chase and they said I just have to wait for either the account number to be resolved on EK's end, or for the points to bounce back.
Hey, I did transfer from Chase in March to account that has been opened many years but without flying activity (I only booked EK F cash and at check in changed my FFP to AC, therefore no activity). I dont use EK in Chase either and I had to wait about 2-3 days.
Today I transferred 186k miles as I need to get to IAH from EU next week and why would I fly KL 2-2-2, haha. No miles posted yet. I think it will show up on monday. Calling Chase nor EK wont help you, been there done that. Ciao!
