Right now, we're leaning towards a Standard Room with 2 Queen Beds at Ramada by Wyndham Rockville Centre - what do you think of this choice? Or should we continue searching in a different area?
A quick citymapper app search tells me that it's getting on on for an a hour and a half to get from it to say the Met Museum. At a cost of over $13 each way per person. Could be a kids kiscount but it's still a lot for just the adults

Do you really want to spend 3 hours a day just on travel?

So on the face you might save a few bucks on the room rate but at the expense of travel time (and so losing out on seeing the sights) and cost of that travel.

Biut if you want proper beds for all your going to want either connecting rooms or a suite with sufficient proper beds.

As other have said you really do need to tell us when you are travelling and what your budget is.
