There is a longstanding issue with making payments to some USA banks, and it's not just BA that has this problem, it's thanks to the USA not belonging to the two main international transfer systems. So if you have another bank account in the UK, Canada, Mexico, Outer Mongolia, it will be easier. But otherwise perhaps start with that email address and let us know how it works out since we don't get many such reports from BAH.

Just an update as promised to my lengthy wait for a downgrade refund from BAH. Emailed the address CWS gave on Thursday 26th September, received an apology email and update that the refund had been processed to my everyday debit card on Monday 30th September. Money landed in account this morning. Thanks again to this forum and CWS in particular. I had all but given up of receiving anything.
