All my Chinese colleagues are on holiday this week, business is effectively shut down all week and Shanghai isn't much of a tourist route so I guess few people are going there either. Sure it'll be back to normal next week. I'm travelling on the 169 on 6th Nov and from the seat maps, already F is more than half reserved, J is filling up and W is half reserved as well. Y is almost empty but that's very normal this far out. That's just those with status or have paid for seat selection.
