HHonors Fraud Protection is a Fraud

Today, someone convinced a Hilton Honors representative to add an email to my HHonors account and change the telephone number. Upon doing so, they started booking reward stays using my HHonors account and likely regular stays using the credit card that’s on file. When I called HHonors upon noticing these transactions in my email, the representative would not help me. In fact, Hilton does not have a dedicated phone number to report fraud activities. To alert Hilton, one must send an email to [email protected] whereby, upon doing so, one gets a response that they will get back to me within 5 days. I’m left having to change my credit card on file and go through all that hassle because Hilton won’t let me talk to them. Along with eliminating free breakfasts and concierge lounges for Diamond members, they’ve now relegated fraud protection to an email box that I cannot ascertain is being monitored. Hilton has broken my trust. Burns my biscuits. Any advice from you all?
