Hello! I am currently managing plane tickets for my partner and it's our first time flying so excuse me for being a noob. We bought Economy Flexible ticket due to our uncertain visa situation. The situation I need to help with is if there is any penalty when changing/canceling the ticket date under 24h? We will get to know the visa result on Monday and I wish to change the ticket to Tuesday 5:30AM. Will there be a penalty if our visa is refused and we have to change/cancel the ticket around 12h before the flight leaves? I tried asking the online support on the Turkish Airline website but honestly I'm not sure they understood my question. I also checked the fare rules and FAQ but there isn't anything about a time limit. They only told me I should change the ticket 4h before the flight to avoid no-show situation and then were talking about difference in prices of the old and new flight. I am not certain about their answer as if I remember correctly other arlines had some time limitation (24h or 12h) even when you got a flexible ticket. I will be thankful for any information about this!!
