Has anybody taken advantage of attending a Wyndham Timeshare presentation and received the benefits (i.e. Wyndham points) without actually purchasing a timeshare?.
When you call Wyndham Rewards you are promised 500 points to be transferred to a Timeshare sales person. I never received the 500 points. Tried twice, excuses, lies, etc.
Promised 60,000 points and 3 nights in NYC for $329 to attentd a timeshare presentation. Sounds enticing but wondering if I will receive the 60,000 points.
If yes are there limits or simply added to your Wyndham Rewards balance. Thanks,
SBT
Yes, you will get the points or gift as promised. There are very strict laws for timeshare sales & they do have to give you what they promised. I have went to a few with Wyndham & never had any issue. Even a few weeks ago I went to one & they gave me the gifts even before sitting through the presentation. Not sure if they all do that but that is the first time I ever had that happen.
The times I did them is when I was already staying at there timeshare resort & they offered me gift to go. I have never done any from an e-mail or phone offer like you are mentioning. One thing I would say is just make sure you know where they will put you for those 3 nights in NYC as it usually is one of the Wyndham group of hotels but might be a Super 8 or Days Inn & might not be very nice. Also as long as you have no problem with saying no at the presentation its a good deal for the gifts.
