I've learnt a lesson to not book HBO flights as I always end up changing my flights on the day due to work!
You seem to be lucky!!
In the BA App, if i click on change the date or time, on an sdc eligible ticket i get
What changes can I make to this flight?
On the day of departure
You can change to another eligible flight on the same day for free.At any other time
Pay the fare difference per passenger and the change fee.
On an et hbo i get
What changes can I make to this flight?
You can change this flight at any time for a change fee plus the difference in the fare per passenger.
No option to change to economy plus
The upgrade section only lets me upgrade the cabin
