Trite and simplistic advice. There are plenty of precautions that can be taken as an individual to limit risk of illness. Since summer of 2023, every single time I stepped foot on to a plane, I caught something shortly thereafter - Covid, flu, a cold, sore throat, norovirus, you name it.

I’ve now flown successfully 3 times since August without catching anything. I’ve been using an anti-viral nasal spray while travelling, regained the pandemic-era vigilance around hand washing and regular uses of hand sanitiser in between, and keep a pack of travel sized sanitising wipes for tray tables, remotes etc.
