Has anybody else had trouble registering for this Marriott Bonvoy and KrisFlyer Preferred Partnership Program Dual Earn Offer?

My experience so far:
I've filled out the promo registration page on SQ's website. First time, got a YOUR REGISTRATION IS UNSUCCESSFUL email. Tried again, no response.
I've already (as in, many months ago) linked my KF and Bonvoy accounts, the latter's earning preference is set to Points.
Only two things I can think of:
- Combined forces of Marriott and SQ IT are doing their darnedest to ensure I don't sign up for this promo in time (today, Oct 4 is the registration deadline)
- Participation in the KF Gold status accelerator of the Preferred Partnership Program earlier this year is considered a "dual earn limited time offer" and therefore disqualifying per the T&Cs.
