Agree. I am almost certain that I wrote a review of Alila Solo, along with the Pramex train ride there, but I can't find it. It was an excellent hotel when I stayed there pre-Covid, and I got a lovely suite, the club lounge was excellent, all at a rate of $50 or so. Yup, that was my experience at the Solo Alila, too. My upgraded tower suite was ALMOST as nice as my suite at the Park Hyatt Jakarta! And they put out a somewhat better spread in the lounge than the Park Hyatt (albeit without fancy cocktails). Breakfast and the pool were good, too (but not as good as Jakarta). Another 5,000 point steal.
BTW, if you're travelling between the Jogya and Solo hotels, I'd recommend Gojek. It cost me only about US$20. More expensive than taxi/train/taxi, but faster and obviously easier/more pleasant.
