Hoping to get some recent reports of people successfully leaving the secure airside departure area in Terminal 3 HND. e.g., arrive for very long layover, go through transit, visit JAL F lounge, leave airport/immigration, come back later.

some reports suggest that you just need to be accompanied by a JAL employee, but it'd make me feel a lot better if someone could confirm they have successfully been able to do this recently as this does not appear to be standard protocol.
