For those of us often flying on points, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Under the present system, it is rare for myself or companion to wind up in the rear third of the plane designated as standard seat pitch. I don't worry as much about the pitch but I am sometimes concerned with seating position if we have a tight connection. Sometimes standing in the aisle for 15 minutes while Ma and Pa Kettles wrestle oversize roller bags out of the overhead can be the difference between making another flight or not. We will see how it starts to play out, and if there is any advantage offered from holding a SWA credit card, but its really looking like we may be ending our 20+ year loyalty to SWA and start looking at other options.
