I found QF as a P1 much better in op-ups than other airlines
  • J-F: LAX-SYD and vice-versa J to F. Was on corporate flexible J fares (including MEL-LAX pre-Christmas on a points booking for my wife and I)
  • Y-J: almost always when flying in the golden triangle on my birthday
Lookiing back on P1 I appreciated most frequently the ease of using points for bookings (30 days out SYD-PER-FCO // JFK-AKL-SYD in J 2x, Christmas flights AU-NA), and during IROPS.

No op-ups J to F on SQ as a PPS; Y to J AC as a SE/100k or AA as an EXP.
