I spent a lot of time thinking about this and I guess they preferred 6am departure and 10pm arrival the next day instead of 8pm departure and 6am arrival +2 days LOL. When I was younger my parents preferred the late arrival but now that I'm older I appreciate the redeye and early morning arrival, cuz I can tackle the day after a quick nap vs not being able to sleep the first night anyway
