We don't know if they would be using ex-VA jets (as part of the wet lease agreement.) Australia typically gets QSuites (unless it's an A380.)
Under the bilateral agreement, Qatari airlines are allowed 28 flights/week to Australia and Australian airlines are also allowed 28 weekly flights to Qatar. This would open the door to 28 additional flights between Qatar and Australia because they would be VA flights.
