While nothing to do with BA the MAN T1 Arrival experience is special. Last time I arrived was on LH from FRA. We arrived at the same time as a widebody from some leisure destination as it was mostly families with small children arriving at the same time from another direction. So as we got to the point to go to the e-gates it intersected with the very large line of families not able to use the e-gates. The people in that line felt it was a major imposition for them to allow our flight to cross over to the e-gate line as if we were trying to push into their queue so nobody could get through. Who was responsible for designing such an absolute gong show. Plus as described above the baggage claim area was a disaster too
Doesn't security work like that at T1, too? I vaguely remember from when BA were based there just after the pandemic. But I swear it was one of those where the fast track lane merges in the absolute worst way possible with the 'normal' lane. Plenty of airports operate that sort of system, but there's normally a cleverness to it, and subtle lane layouts. At T1 recall it being very 'if you want FT, you're gonna have to fight for it!'
