For health reasons (beliefs) for the last few years I have been avoiding big body scanners (I don't mind metal detectors, and there's no escaping them, it would seem)

Can you please share:
-countries that have only metal detector (no body scanner)
-countries that legally allow a pat-down, without jumping in the body scanner

personally:
-I am happy to go through the metal detector
-I am happy to get luggage x-rayed
-I just don't like the big body scanners
-if you wanna debate health, I am happy to debate, but that's not the purpose of the thread

All European Unions countries body scanners are optional, so please list countries outside EU.
