Looks like SFO-BKK would have to divert around North Korea airspace as a US based airline while no diversion would be required for SGN/HAN. With Russian airspace closed for the foreseeable future I cannot see ORD/EWR based flights being possible.
I can't recall ever flying through North Korean airspace, even on Air China between PEK and the US.
