That kind of happened to me yesterday at ATL. I arrived at a T-gate and took the PlaneTrain to the F-gates to fine dine at The Varsity. Then I took another train back to the D-gates where my non-Delta flight was leaving from and I went to the SkyClub there to kill time. All in all it was about 90 minutes from my Delta arrival to my coming to the Club. There was a Delta employee standing outside the club (which is a tiny one) and scanned me outside. She looked puzzled about the lack of another Delta flight and commented about this being a club visit on an Arrival, not departure. I said correct. I was allowed inside without a problem but it did seem to confuse her for a moment.
