Way too many planes departing IAD around 6 pm yesterday....then 20 lined up for take-off.

Agree with crowing at IAD: tried Polaris - too busy. Tried Club - too busy. Eventually made it over to A and tried Etihad - closed for PriorityPass entry between 5pm and 8 pm.
Oh, well...
Dulles is its own beast. I think it has the fewest banks (someone please correct me if I’m wrong). Fewer banks = more flights per bank. I was there for a long layover in August and around noon or 1 it was completely empty.
