EDITED TO ADD: Speaking of Fogo, Nimmo Bay recently imported the Fogo chef for a culinary event: “For the Savour the Coast retreat, Nimmo Bay has brought in chef Benjamin Wood and guide Lorie Penton from Newfoundland’s Fogo Island Inn; and the owners of Bella Wines in Naramata (whose wines we will soon be drinking).” I’ll arrive Nimmo Thursday, sadly not for this event but am confident of outstanding cuisine.
Fantastic. Sorry you will miss that. If you like wine and sparkling wines, ask if they still have any of Bella's "Vintage Bub" still around after the visit. It is excellent, and pretty much unobtainable unless you drive to the winery or go to special events like this.
