Had not considered the bus! How do you get to the H30 bus stop at T4, Heathrow information refers to the bus running via the cargo area? It runs every 20 minutes so might try this next time I am here.
T4 is a very small terminal, and the buses all come to the same place at front. So H30, 482 and 490 all run from there to T5, with up to 15 services an hour from there. Sheffield and Starlight bus stops saves you the long footbridge from the hotels to the terminal, however H30 doesn't stop there, so you're down to 12 services an hour. You can either use the service road from the Hilton to get to these stops (see Google Maps, particularly for Starlight), or for Sheffield just walk out via the car park and then the bus stop is on the link between the car park and the Southern Perimeter. But overall it's probably best to use the walkway to T4 just on the off chance you get a free ride. Starlight from T5 to Hilton, Sheffield from Hilton to T5.
