I just missed a train to T2 &T3 and the next one is in 15 minutes. I suspect when I get to T2 &T3 I will have a reasonable wait for my train to T5. Elizabeth Line and Heathrow Express are easier if you are carrying luggage but is the underground not the choice if speed is the essence?
The Underground is more frequent (every 10 mins on paper) but I often seem to encounter long gaps in the service. It also doesn't work as well in the opposite direction since you need to circulate via Hatton Cross. The Elizabeth line from T4 is every 15 mins and is generally more punctual, though when things go wrong they go very wrong. It runs every 30 mins from T2&3 to T5 but the Heathrow Express also runs every 15 mins, so taken together you have 6tph for the T2&3 to T5 journey.

The best option surely has to be the bus though, it's direct, more frequent and takes less time. If you take the H30 it's also free.
