the gotcha is that when being bussed, and despite the big signs, folk follow the crowd and exit via the glass gates rather than make their way upstairs (via stairs or lifts) to the connections point.

the other issue would be if arriving from a domestics flight and connecting on to a flight from T234. following the purple signs takes you to the airside buses where you will mix with international arrivals, so you do have to go thro security when you get to your next terminal.

otherwise no when connecting from a domestic flight to any other T5 flight you will not go thro security.
