All MAN connections at T5 are not via security. You only end up with another security check if you took a wrong turn. Because that security check costs about £8 per person, HAL is quite keen you do NOT go through security again. It's fairly simple: when you arrive at LHR, just follow the signs for Flight Connections T5, not Exit, nor Flight Connections T2, T3, T4. Don't follow the herd!
