glam: that's very good to know. I imagine the "Golden Pigeon" moniker was intended as an ever-so-slight sleight. Golden Goose works much better for me, even if it is as (suitably) self-promoting as everything else in Singapore. Golden Goose is well-deserved, as SIA has lain many a golden egg over the years. One of the most profitable airlines in the world, arguably best service in the air, the catalyst for tourism to the city-state, and all that. I'll stick with the Golden Goose. ^
