Got to AUH airport early yesterday and was able to get them to swap me onto QR via DOH as I saw a seat had opened up. Much preferred to get a flat bed on a chunky length flight rather than 3 short flights. And got to try Al Mourjan Lounge in DOH! They did refuse to book AUH-DOH in F. I pushed back a couple of times but they wouldn't budge, not sure if that's new policy as I saw others managed to get this booked.
Oddly enough, Avios and TPs have already posted in my account (I only landed 3 hours ago!). QR posting quicker than my positioning flight out to AUH on Friday with BA which still isn't there, bizarre

Data point on ORC following the invol reroute. I didn’t get around to calling BAEC until Monday just gone. Submitted the supporting docs as requested and noticed the original Avios & TP have been posted yesterday(!). Was expecting a much longer battle and lots of chasing, pleasantly surprised.
