If I’m an Emirates Gold member and want to fly on an Air Canada Toronto to US flight (not connected to an Emirates flight) can I use the Maple Leaf lounge? The AC website only mentions benefits for Aeroplan members when traveling on Emirates. The Emirates website says “Emirates Skywards Gold and Platinum members travelling with either airline can enjoy Maple Leaf Lounges along with a guest, as well as Air Canada Cafes in Toronto Pearson.”

That implies that it can be used for any flight, but I’m wary of it. Anyone have an idea if it’s possible?
