A bit of discretion, and no-one really cares. Basically avoid eating it when they are selling meals, and don't bring out a steaming curry or KFC that stinks out the cabin and it is fine. So subtle things like sandwiches, fruit, even biscuits, chips, nuts etc seem to evade the food police.
