But one other question. Assuming they check luggage through, would you also get the boarding pass for Turkish from United or would you still have to check-in at Turkish counter? Trying to think whether I should still have a sizeable connection time or something like 3 hours at ORD would be fine.
they often then also give you the connecting BP - but YMMV. 3 hours sounds fine to me even in the event they don't check through bags - although then you can't take much delay on that flight into ORD
