Has anyone else recently experienced the on-going “construction/renovations” at the Satellite Golden Lounge? I have transited/departed from KUL a few times between May 2024 and this past weekend, and I was surprised that over 4 months later, the regular showers/toilet rooms are still unavailable.

Essentially, the back area near the toilet room/prayer area has been closed off and everyone is directed to the small toilet rooms near the noodle bar at the front of the lounge. Quite a few times, especially around the evening departures, there has been an uncomfortable wait time to use an actual toilet (sitting down), not the urinals. There is only 1 true toilet room and 3 mixed toilet/shower rooms. I thiink the 2 handicapped toilet rooms near the “reception area” have also been converted to hybrid shower rooms.

Maybe someone else who frequents KUL easily can give any insight on the timeline for the on-going lounge toilet facilities?
