I'd really love to know what the ratio of AAdvantage elites who book with them is to other OW non-AAdvantage elites., but I'm sure it's not something they'll ever share. They (AAdvantage) make it such a huge disadvantage for their own elites to book with their own airline, a real shame.

I know this forum isn't a great representative sample but seems a lot of people booking with AA are crediting to BA, IB, or QR... or AAdvantage members who just don't care about their earnings (they definitely exist too).
