I suspect they wouldn't make you lose your advance seat reservation, but if you - for example - book in May for a flight in December, choose a free seat at booking, lose status in August & try to change a seat afterwards you'll have to pay. Luggage allowance would always be assessed at check in.
Not sure what you saying is correct. What I did is making booking (simulations) today, AFTER TK informed me my status was (wrongly) gone as of today itself. Still, Star Gold benefits applied / apply, in both cases.
