Spent a couple nights here last week. Very pleased with the stay overall. The location is ideal for visiting Brugge, right in the midst of everything. Had two rooms, one upgraded to a junior suite on the 5th floor, plus the king city view next door. Rooms are showing their age, but still in good repair. If I had to nitpick, I'm not a fan of the bathrooms, specifically the tub and cramped toilet space. The view towards Burg square is very pleasant. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Diamond breakfast was offered for both rooms -- in fact, my name showed up on the breakfast list with 6 guests (not sure if the junior suite holds 4). There were only two of us, and on the first morning I didn't realize why the waiter pushed three tables together for us, just assumed that's part of the Diamond treatment. Breakfast was pretty good -- a small buffet of hot and cold items, not a huge selection, but pretty tasty. Overall, not a brand new hotel, but highly recommended as a base for Brugge.
As a side note, we took a taxi from the station to the hotel, which came to ~€22 (with a €10 flagfall), not exactly a bargain for the short distance. Uber from the hotel to the station was €12.83, even though there were some road closures and the driver took a route that must have three times as long as the route on arrival.
