We turned right after clearing security (Fast Track saved us probably 15-20 minutes - EDI was incredibly busy!) to get to the lounge and then had to backtrack and go on further to get to Gate 1 for boarding (maybe a 10-12 minute walk from lounge to gate).
Hope you will be in Scotland for something enjoyable!

I live in Scotland so actually flying to Orlando via Newark - from Aberdeen it’s normally three flights so this is slightly easier! EDI is always busy so hopefully Fast Track helps.
thank you!

That day, passengers (even in Polaris) after getting their luggage tagged were expected to walk behind the check-in desks (which are positioned about 15-20 ft away from the baggage conveyor along the back wall) to put their own luggage on the belt. Only there was some mechanical issue, resulting in a 50+ person queue that I had to wait in just to load my bag onto the belt.
This doesn’t surprise me about EDI - I’ve never had a good experience there! I was kind of hoping Polaris might be better but not holding my breath.
Thank you - all the experiences help!
