Did they stop releasing last min availabilty? ORD based and used to consistently see new J seats at T-14 days, but I haven't seen anything in the last couple of days (and I've been checking everyday).
I've noticed the same, but I'm based out of LAX. Just a month ago, I could find J award availability a couple weeks out for both SFO and LAX. Now, it seems nothing is available.
