Nice link, Loony. Thanks for that. I didn't find it ironic to see SIA as part of a national education website. It might explain why my best friend, a Singaporean, has such strong attachment to SQ, even as he mostly flies BA himself (due to his bank's travel deals). Even my brother, who works at SATS but is not Singaporean, gave me a withering look when I once referred to the logo (with much affection, of course ) as "that flapping pigeon".
