Whenever I check in to the club upon arrival, the agent usually is a bit puzzled (I presume as they are looking to see where my connecting gate is) until they realize I’m just arriving. I presume this could lead them to notice your flight time when checking in and potentially not let you in.

If it’s a club with the kiosks, I assume you’ll have less troubles.
