Virgin lounge access at LHR T3 - is new three hour limit enforced?

A number of family members are heading to BOM via LHR for a wedding in mid-October. We have folks flying from JFK and MIA and the layover in LHR is long so I'm trying to ensure they have access to a decent lounge while there. Two people are flying Virgin Upper Class so I assume they would have access to the Virgin Clubhouse lounge.

My main concern is the 5 other folks flying Virgin Premium Economy. I don't think there's any way for the Upper Class pax to guest PE traveling companions into the Virgin Clubhouse. Would PE have access to any lounge in T3 by default? If not, what are their best options? I can hook them all up with PriorityPass access if needed.

One of the travelers on the Upper Class ticket has an Amex Platinum card, and I think they can pay $50 per person to guest people into the Amex Centurion Lounge so I guess that may also be an option.

Any thoughts on which of the above options would provide the nicest layover experience?
