I figured this would be the case for my second flight. Nonetheless, I rather like the Super Diamond seats. Going by appearances, they look comfier (more padding) than your average modern slimline seat. It's disappointing that they don't have doors, or at least partitions, but the window and aisle seats in this cabin are angled away from each other, which should provide some privacy.

I don't tend to choose those rows for the same reasons, even though those seats (especially in row 1) tend to have more space and privacy.
As far as equipment swaps go, I really hope that they don't swap my 2nd flight with a 2-2-2 configured aircraft. What are the odds that this will happen? I just paid 50 Euro to cancel a reservation I made with LH precisely because almost all their J cabins are 6 abreast. I mistakenly assumed their a350-900s (which I was scheduled to fly on) would be retrofitted with the new Allegris seats.
On the other hand, I just checked out some photos, and 6-abreast on Qatar wouldn't be the end of the world. For one, the seats have a
vast amount of legroom, enough so that passengers in the window seats probably have aisle access, even when their neighbor is fully reclined.
In addition, these seats are massive, with good space between them and privacy partitions to boot (I would be concerned about seat reassignment in the event of an equipment swap, however. I could end up in a window-side aisle seat).
