Some recent trans-Atlantic economy meals:

JFK - LIS- Dinner (Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Carrots, Couscous with Vegetables, Cheese and Crackers, Brownie)

The entree is a bit bland in terms of flavor, but the chicken isn't overcooked too badly and is somewhat juicy. I'm still surprised by how green the green beans are, and that the carrots are neither rock hard, nor overly mushy.

JFK - LIS- Pre-Arrival Meal (Chocolate Hazelnut Calzone)

We had a choice between an Egg and Cheese Calzone and a Chocolate Hazelnut Calzone. The calzone dough is a bit too salty to work well with the filling, but at least Nutella tastes much better than the egg filling!

CDG - LAX - Lunch (Chicken, Broccoli, Mushrooms, and Peas on Polenta, Couscous Salad, Salted Caramel Tiramisu)

I was happy to see an entree different from the gnocchi that I've had on my last two trans-Atlantic flights back to the U.S. A bit skimpy on the amount of chicken compared to the JFK-LIS flight, but overall this meal tasted better. The salted caramel tiramisu is better than the 'regular' tiramisu.

The pre-arrival meal was the same as I reported back in April here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/36231857-post556.html
