I just flew MUC-IST-SEA today so I can comment a little bit on the lounge situation with your questions.

There are complimentary towels in the shower facilities and the lockers are also complimentary for passenger use with a keypad lock.

However since your flight is 21h later they might not allow you to go through International Transfers (Security) and even then they may not allow you into the lounge if it's for a next day flight.
