If you are moving from Terminal 1 to 2 overnight and want to minimize walking I would suggest one of the hotels at Gateway Gardens and just taking their shuttle from Terminal 1 and to Terminal 2 in the morning. The Gateway Garden hotels are very close to Terminal 2 and you would get dropped off right at T2 departures. With the Marriott/Sheraton you have to either take the shuttle bus in front of Terminal 1 arrivals (which actually leaves just below the entrance to the hotel) or the Skyline Train (which requires decent amount of walking through Terminal 1 and several escalators/elevators) and then more walking and escalators/elevators in Terminal 2 to get to departures.
