I don't believe "Saver Awards" exist any more, because everything is now dynamic pricing.

I did months of research watching flights SFO-XXX-ATN and back, to get the general pattern of awards pricing for next July/August. Matching with my miles available, convenience of timing, and when the prices came off their highs immediately after booking opens, I booked one way miles+money, and one way full miles award. Happy with the deal I got. Of course, not as "cheap" when there were "Saver Awards", but i knew that going in.
