Never had any above-normal level of issues flying into CZM.
I've also done the ferry, it can be a fun ride for something different if you want a little adventure. But if you are the type that just wants to get to CZM quickly, fly direct into CZM.

The CZM airport is much smaller and laid back in comparison to CUN.
