However, whether I continue flying JX will depend on how the trip and any potential subsequent trips go. With the sixth A350-900 delivered, I expect TPAC flights to not be canceled anymore as has been done in the recent past. My travel plans are not flexible enough to handle that kind of disruption. If they want to keep growing aggressively at the expense of their customers, I don't feel compelled to continue supporting them.
If JX does join OW, wouldn't AS continue to give EQM/RDM for OW members? We would only see JX rescind these options for AS bookings if they are still not in OW and they no longer need AS customers as much as they do now for feeds.
You can examine their strategy again this Christmas cause JX is implementing 3 additional frequencies to LAX while the aircraft # is still currently at 6. It seems like they are betting on Airbus delivering the 7th aircraft in time before the holiday season. They may have to hope none of the 359 goes in tech while operating 20 weekly long haul to North America if it doesn't deliver (just like this past August).
